Lean Meat & Vegetables Forever

The last few posts have focused on the current mainstream dietary prescription of lean meat and green vegetables.  The question now is after you get your 1,000 calories of lean meat and vegetables and lose weight, what’s next?

I believe I have found the answer!  Here’s the study I’m referring to, “Caloric restriction chronically impairs metabolic programming in mice.”  The study notes that:

“These results suggest that although caloric restriction on a HFD (high-fat diet) provides metabolic benefits, maintaining those benefits may require lifelong continuation, at least in individuals with a history of obesity.”

So there you have it – lean meats and vegetables forever!  That’s all you get!
