I also looked through Bob Harper’s new book (trainer from the Biggest Loser). He claims that:
“experts ‘keep people in the dark about calorie restriction, but they all know the truth’. His rule? ‘Cut back on calories. Then cut back again.’”
Wow! I wonder what “experts” he is referring to. He recommends 800 calories a day for women and 1,200 calories a day for men during his three-week diet.
I guess 1,000 calories a day isn’t low enough for some diet gurus!
